Exotic Car Rental Sexy Commercial TV Ad
There are more companies than ever offering rental cars for your business or vacation trip. National car rental companies include Hertz and Avis and also Alamo, Dollar, and National Rent-a-car. You can get good car rental rates online, along with a comparison of prices offered by different companies.
It's good to note what your credit card policies are. Some upper-tier credit cards include injury car insurance or even collision insurance, if you use these credit cards to rent a car. Also charges are often quite different than the quoted charge to rent a car. You must add in sales tax, airport tax and other surcharges that can raise the rate from 10-percent to 40-percent.
Additional charges can involve reserving a car in advance. You get the best likely rate by reserving the car about a week in advance. There is also usually an additional charge when you drop off a car at a different location than you rented it, which can be hundreds or even over $1000, depending on how far the second location is from the first. Insurance is a must have for driving rental cars.
Your personal car insurance or your business car insurance may provide you with the insurance that you need. Or the insurance may be provided by upper-tier credit cards you are using for the rental. This information should be known by you in advance, so you know what to say when you are offered to purchase car insurance with the rental for an extra fee.
You should be ready to present a major credit card, as most major car rental agencies will not accept cash or debit cards. Keep in mind that different companies and deals have different policies concerning how to charge for miles driven. You may have a policy of unlimited mileage, or this may be so, but limited to one state, or within 100 miles or so of where you pick up the car.
Other rental policies give you 100-200 free miles, and then after that charge you so much per mile. You are expected to pay for your own gasoline, and to fill up the tank to the level it was at when you got it, usually full or nearly full.
Some car rental companies demand that the driver be at least 25 years of age, while some smaller companies let younger drivers, such as of age 21 to rent a car. Bon voyage!
